A huge “Thank You” to ALL who, in any way, participated in Honor Flight Pittsburgh. My husband wasn’t sure about going but ended up having a wonderful trip. A man who is usually quiet, he is still marveling at all the veterans he spoke with, and the scope of the different conversations. Honor Flight Pittsburgh is a class act all the way. THANK YOU for this remarkable experience.
~ Wife of Vietnam Veteran
This was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.
~ Vietnam Veteran
Thank you to the entire Honor Flight Pittsburgh staff and volunteers. The experience was beyond my expectations.
~ Vietnam Veteran
My dad and I both had an amazing day. My dad was in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He has always told me that people were waiting on the pier when they got off the ship so that they could spit on them and the other sailors. My dad said yesterday was the first day people thanked him and welcomed him home. Thank you for creating this wonderful moment for my father.
~ Daughter of Vietnam Veteran

~ Vietnam Veteran
Thank you to Honor Flight Pittsburgh for giving back to our precious, well deserved, veterans. My father was overwhelmed with appreciation in so many ways and is still talking about it, saying, “I can’t believe how nice all those veterans were, all the monument stops, the giving and support and enthusiasm”.

Never have I experienced such gratitude for my military service. The entire trip was filled with unexpected events and gracious greetings by all people we encountered. The guides, staff, escorts and nurses contributed to a great day.
